Tara is the founder of all things Prana Wellness Yoga.
With a strong focus on alignment, conscious breathing and mindful movements - she teaches yoga to anyone who is looking to begin or enhance their practice. Her aim is to make yoga inclusive, accessible and approachable to all kinds of humans no matter your background, age, shape, colour or weight.
Tara teaches the things that she knows and loves, and the parts of yoga that has helped her get through a lot of obstacles in her own life. Coming from a background in Public Relations, along with the mental and physical stresses and nature of the work at the time, mixed with the unhealthy habits she put her body through - yoga was the only practical tool that helped her move through a lot of personal and professional struggles.
She completed her 200RYT training in India in 2018 and has been fortunate enough to guide people through their own yoga journey ever since - she started Prana Wellness Yoga soon after training, and began teaching to travelling kitesurfers in Blouberg as well as private and corporate clients within the area.
She completed her YACEP 50HR Yoga Nidra course in 2020, opened up studio space in 2021 and loves to delve deeper into the practice of holistic yogic healing with all walks of life. Tara is currently busy with her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training and is looking forward to sharing this practice with moms to be!
Meeting new people, going on cultural experiences, camping and a good outdoor adventure fills her heart.
